LIFESTYLE COUNSELLING

Daily habits, including diet, exercise, sleep, and stress management, as well as mental and emotional well-being are important building blocks of your health. Optimizing these practices while tailoring them to your wants and needs is foundational in holistic care.

ACUPUNCTURE

Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, specific acupuncture points are selected based on your health history and goals, and stimulated to bring balance in the body. This ancient form of medicine is recognized by the World Health Organization, and supported by an increasing body of evidence.

CLINICAL NUTRITION

Nutrition provides the foundation for health, and nourishment is the goal! Individualized dietary recommendations are given and targeted nutritional supplementation is used when needed.

PHARMACEUTICALS

In 2010, the BC government granted NDs prescriptive drug rights. With additional training, Dr. Boer is licensed to prescribe pharmaceuticals. Though beginning with gentler and less invasive methods when possible, pharmaceutical medication is prescribed when needed.

BOTANICAL MEDICINE

The use of herbal medicines, in the form of commercial preparations as well as compounded, individualized formulas. These include capsules, tablets, tinctures, teas, and topical preparations. These herbal allies are used to support the body's individual needs.

INJECTION THERAPIES

Intramuscular (IM) and intravenous (IV) injections of therapeutic levels of vitamins and minerals are administered directly into the muscle or blood stream (respectively), bypassing the gastrointestinal tract.
